These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of chauffeur and private hire services by Dark Knight Chauffeurs ("the Company", "we", "our", "us") to you ("the Client", "you", "your"). By booking or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. Services Provided: We provide licensed private hire chauffeur services, including but not limited to airport transfers, corporate travel, events transport, A-to-B taxi services, and bespoke travel arrangements. We reserve the right to subcontract bookings to other licensed and insured operators when necessary, ensuring they meet all legal and professional requirements.
2. Booking and Confirmation: All bookings must be confirmed in writing, by telephone, or via our approved booking system. We will provide written or electronic confirmation of your booking, which constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
3. Cancellation Policy: If you cancel your booking less than three (3) hours before the scheduled pick-up time, a cancellation fee equal to 30% of the agreed fare will apply. Cancellations must be made in writing, by email, or confirmed by telephone with our bookings team.
4. Client Responsibilities: You are responsible for ensuring that all passengers behave in a safe and respectful manner towards our drivers and vehicles. You must not cause damage, leave excessive mess, or engage in unlawful conduct during the journey. We reserve the right to terminate a journey without refund if a passenger's behaviour is deemed unsafe or inappropriate.
5. Liability: We accept no liability for any loss, damage, delay, or inconvenience caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including traffic, weather conditions, road closures, mechanical failures, or force majeure events. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the cost of the booking in question.
6. Force Majeure: We shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from events, circumstances, or causes beyond our reasonable control.
7. Data Protection: We comply with the Data Protection Act 2018 and the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR). Your personal data will be processed lawfully, fairly, and transparently for the purposes of fulfilling your booking and maintaining service quality.
8. Applicable Law: These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
9. Relevant Legislation: These Terms and Conditions are designed to comply with and be enforceable under the following UK legislation: Consumer Rights Act 2015; Data Protection Act 2018; UK GDPR; Road Traffic Act 1988; Equality Act 2010; Licensing Acts and Local Authority Private Hire Regulations; Limitation Act 1980; and Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982 (where applicable).
